About The Artist

Picture

"What do you see?" is often one of my favorite questions to ask viewers of my work. The responses are always different and very surprising since not one view is like the other. It is what I love most about art, the ability to bring strangers together for a moment in time, bringing them back to a child-like state of imagination, creativity and not being afraid to let others know what they are imagining.

I have always seen the world/universe we live in as unpredictable and chaotic, yet balanced and infinite; anything can happen and anything can be created from nothing. My paintings usually start with the idea of a landscape; an area where I can play with wild forms, textures and colors. I finish when I feel I have pushed the detail all I can, resulting in a dream-like landscape, loaded with saturated colors, unique textures and subliminal forms for viewers to find. Enjoy!!
